The Tweak ListToo often, anything written about computers is written from the geek's perspective. And, as in any other profession, those who understand the jargon are considered hip and with it! Unfortunately, the computer industry is one of the few where the informed consumer spends almost a lot of time acquanting themselves with the technical ins and outs of the technologies which are available to them. It can most definitely pose a considerable problem for those who don't know what all these buzzwords means. The Tweak List is our attempt to bridge the gap between the techno-hip and the techno-void. In an effort to enlighten mankind, we are forming the Tweak List, an innovative collection of definitions, explanations, and links which will help you, the reader, to more fully understand the new realm of computing which will be presented soon enough. As definitions and terms are introduced here on the site, we hope to add items to the Tweak List. Since so many terms are thrown around, we will be adding to the Tweak List considerably for a while to come. New entries will of course be noted on the top-level Xclave page. If you would like to submit an entry to the Tweak List, please feel free to e-mail us at xclave@macnn.com. We will consider all submissions, but do reserve the right to edit or "tweak" the entries. :) Here is the list so far:
